Catholicism and Science, like peanut butter and jelly

The man on the left is Fr Georges Lemaitre, SJ. Among other things, he came up with the Big Bang Theory and was the first to theorize the expansion of the universe.

When we consider all the wonders of creation it seems impossible to surmise that it all happened just by accident. SOMEONE is bound to have created it all.

God bless.

I agree with both of you that the wonders of God's creation point towards a Creator. There are far too many interlocking cycles and processes in nature such as the water cycle, decomposition, etc. Its been compared to someone finding a watch in the forest and assuming that it just randomly grew there. Also, where did everything come from. Even if there was a big bang and it created the stars and planets, where did the matter come from to have a big bang?
